Цели:

Социокультурный аспект – знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона.

Развивающий аспект – формирование способностей к продуктивным речевым действиям, повышение мотивации говорения на базе страноведческой тематики.

Учебный аспект – развитие речевых умений в диалогической и монологической речи на основе творческого использования усвоенного ранее материала в новых ситуациях.

Воспитательный аспект – формирование адекватного восприятия и отношения к образу жизни и нормам поведения в стране изучаемого языка, воспитание положительного отношения к достопримечательностям Лондона.

Сопутствующие задачи – скрытый контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.

Задачи урока:

• систематизировать и обобщить изученный материал по теме «Faces of London»
• развивать логическое мышление, творческую мыслительную деятельность, наблюдательность, кругозор, память учащихся;
• прививать интерес к знакомству со страной изучаемого языка
• расширить знания оВеликобритании.

Оборудование:

иллюстрации достопримечательностей Лондона;

флаг Великобритании;

видео о Лондоне;

мультимедийное оборудование;

компьютер.

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационныймомент

Teacher: Good morning, boysб, our guests-teachers! I’m glad to meet you at our lesson! Sit  down,  please!

2. Объявлениецелей урока

Teacher: The topic of our lesson is “Faces of London”. (слайд 1)

3. Фонетическаяразминка

Teacher: Let’s improve our pronunciation.  Listen to the poem (слайд 2)

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, where have you been?

I have been to London to look at the Queen.

4. Речеваяразминка:

Teacher: What is the UK?

P1: The UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. (слайд 3)

Teacher: How many parts does the UK consists of and what are they called?

P2: The UK consists of 4 parts: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Teacher: What river does London stand on? (слайд 4)

P3: London stands on the river Thames.

Teacher: What is London rich in?

P4: London is rich in museums and parks.

Teacher: You are right. London has a lot of places of interest.

5. Актуализация знаний, формулирование темы урока.

 Teacher: Have you ever been to London?

 P : No, I haven’t. / I’ve never been to London.

 Teacher:   Would you like to go to London?

 P :  Yes, I would

Teacher: I offer you to visit it. Let’s begin our tour.

7. Teacher: What places of interest inLondon do you know? Match the two parts of word-expressions to get the names of the sights in London. (Слайд 5)

2. Teacher: Look at the pictures and name the places of interest inLondon. (Слайды 6-15)

P: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral.

7. Физкультминутка:

 And you are there.

8. Актуализациянавыков диалогической речи.

Teacher: Imagine that we are in London. You want to see some places of interest. But you don’t know the way. Let’s ask some Londoners for help. Work out the dialogue (слайд 16)

— Excuse me, please. How can I get to …?

-Oh, it’s very easy. Go along this street.

-Thank  you  very  much.

— You are welcome. Have a nice day.

9. Совершенствованиенавыков чтения

Teacher: We have two guides at our lesson. They will tell you about parks and gardens of London. (слайды «Parks»)

10. Контроль полученных знаний.

Teacher: Now let’s see what you’ve learned about London. The quiz “What do you know about London?”
